Bloomfield Vanilla is a small family-run farm in the picturesque Bloomfield River Valley. Our vanilla is grown under the canopy of the tropical Far North Queensland rainforest, providing the perfect environment and climate for producing 100% natural vanilla without the use of any chemicals.

We have been experimenting with different systems to cure vanilla for the past eight years and are now confident we have a high-quality product. Our vanilla beans have been tested by chefs at the Cairns TAFE and found to be of superb quality.

This vanilla is to die for! So aromatic and flavoursome. Better than any vanilla I have ever experienced. The tour is fantastic to hear direct from the farmer about the trials and tribulations of growing this special plant! Before my tour I didn’t even realise we could grow vanilla in Australia!
You must contact them before you visit. This was such a special part of my visit to the area. I will not forget the hospitality shown. Spend your $ here and support a small Australian family business and a real Aussie entrepreneur who has worked out how to grow this product the hard way- by experience. You will not regret it! A very unique one of a kind tours one on one with a farmer. I suggest stay at Bloomfield Cabins and Camping when visiting here. It’s close and is a wonderful spot too.
